Advance your nursing career through New England Tech’s Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) Pathway Program. Eligible participants may qualify for full tuition coverage.
This flexible pathway supports both BSN-entry and ASN-to-MSN nursing students preparing to become Family Nurse Practitioners. Through a combination of online coursework, clinical experiences, and faculty support, students gain the knowledge, leadership skills, and clinical expertise needed to provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) are advanced practice registered nurses who provide primary and preventive care, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and serve as a patient’s primary healthcare provider in many settings. Working independently and collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams, FNPs play a critical role in expanding access to care in hospitals, clinics, community health centers, and underserved populations. Graduates are prepared for advanced practice roles in primary care, urgent care, specialty clinics, and community-based healthcare settings.
Our Pathways Program Experience includes:
- Primarily online coursework designed for working nurses
- In-person clinical immersion experiences and hands-on training
- Supervised clinical rotations across primary care and specialty settings
- Instruction from experienced nurse practitioner faculty and clinical experts
- Academic advising and support throughout the RN-to-NP transition
- Preparation for national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
